Dementia Tax

Whilst many of us have never heard of the term 'Dementia Tax', it has been used in the UK for nearly over a decade. This term refers to the additional expenses for people living with dementia and their close ones, who are more than likely to be the ones who are required to pay for the social care needed with what is claimed to be "little or no support" from the government.

Many charities and organisations that focus on tending to the elderly have called for fair and sustainable costs for helping aid people living with dementia.
