I have completed all my interviews and am at the stage where I need to start conducting the 7 minutes. Before I even went to interviews, I did question whether I would be able to fit everything I deemed as essential and that stress still remains. I constantly worry if my method of editing all the interviewees into sections is actually constructive or whether I am doing it the long way around, however, having it all into sections and already edited has allowed me to see a huge gap of my lack of transitions.

Today is the last time I'm going to have a tutorial with my supervisor and the next time we meet is for the draft review. My supervisor highlighted the fact that radio transitions are equally, if not more important than all my interviewees. I have now come to accept that I will not be able to include every essential angle of each interviewee and have come up with ways I can still at the very least still share it, which is through the website.

In the hopes of achieving high marks and creating an inspiring documentary I have split my 7 minutes into 4 categories;

  • Introduction (3 voices, and my piece to the mic)

  • Public perception problem and what changes they can make?

  • What is already out there (modern technology and NHS?).

  • The small factors matter, starting small.

I am hoping that because I have broken it down into small sections, I will be able to illustrate the narrative I'm aiming to and it isn't generic.
